Why Study Languages?

The ‘Why study Languages?’ website was created in 2006 and is a dynamic and interactive website with resources to promote the study of language amongst school pupils. This site is aimed at pupils and students of languages from Year 7 to Sixth form. It also provides parents and careers advisers with information on language-related career options and teachers with resources to help make the case for languages in their schools. This website has been funded by the Routes into Languages programme which encourages young people in schools to study languages.
